Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Overview

Welcome to BOULD CATS. Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business trading as BOULD CATS, identified in section 27.

These Terms explain the conditions for using our website and purchasing our products. Please read them alongside our Return and Refund Policy and Shipping Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Our store is hosted by Shopify. We also use production and fulfilment partners, including Printify and its print providers. When you purchase from our store, your sales contract is with BOULD CATS.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that you have under applicable consumer protection law.

1. Access and account

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase contract. If you are under the age required in your country, a parent or guardian must make the purchase for you.

Please provide accurate, current information when ordering or creating an account, and update it when necessary.

Keep your account credentials secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for your own use of the account, but you are not automatically responsible for activity caused by a security failure on our part.

Do not transfer your account to another person without our agreement.

2. Our products

BOULD CATS sells clothing featuring original brand designs. Product descriptions explain the relevant materials, sizing, fit and printed details.

We aim to represent products accurately. Some images are digital mockups. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, lighting and the printing process. Any stated measurement tolerances are shown in the product information or size chart.

These variations do not remove your rights if an item is faulty, materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal standards.

Please check the size chart before ordering. Measurements may describe the garment rather than body measurements.

Made-to-order production

Our items are normally printed after an order is placed. Production typically takes 2–7 working days once an order enters production. Shipping time is additional.

Printing a standard design after purchase does not, by itself, make the item personalised or remove statutory cancellation rights.

We may update descriptions, withdraw products or change availability for future purchases. Changes will not alter the agreed description of an existing order without your agreement.

3. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to purchase the products selected. Please check your items, sizes, delivery address and contact details before submitting payment.

An automated acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. Your order is accepted when we send an email expressly confirming acceptance.

Before acceptance, we may decline an order for a reasonable reason, such as unavailable stock, an unsupported delivery destination, unsuccessful payment or a genuine concern about fraud. We will notify you and promptly refund any payment taken for an order we cannot accept.

We will not substitute a materially different product or increase an agreed price without your consent.

Products are offered for personal use. Please contact us before placing wholesale or commercial resale orders.

Changes and cancellations

Contact bouldcats@bouldcats.com as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Production can begin quickly, so we cannot guarantee that we can change a size, design or address, or stop printing.

Our inability to stop production does not remove any cancellation or return rights you have.

Returns and refunds

Under our voluntary returns policy, you may notify us that you wish to return an eligible item within 30 calendar days of delivery, and send it back within 30 calendar days of notifying us.

Change-of-mind return postage is your responsibility. We cover reasonable return costs where an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect and a return is required.

Full conditions, statutory cancellation rights and refund arrangements are explained in our Return and Refund Policy. Mandatory legal rights apply even where they provide greater protection.

4. Prices and billing

The applicable currency, product prices, shipping charges and taxes collected by us will be displayed before you complete your purchase. Displayed prices include taxes where required by applicable law.

Prices may change for future orders. We will not change the price of an accepted order without your agreement.

Promotions may have additional conditions, which will be displayed when the promotion is offered.

You must provide accurate billing information and be authorised to use your chosen payment method. Payments are processed through the payment services available at checkout.

Any potential import charges not collected at checkout are addressed in our Shipping Policy and relevant checkout disclosures. This does not transfer our own tax obligations to you.

5. Shipping and delivery

Available destinations, shipping charges and delivery information are shown in our Shipping Policy and at checkout.

Production and shipping are separate stages. Unless expressly stated otherwise, delivery estimates refer to the period after dispatch.

Delivery times are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates, unless we specifically agree otherwise. This does not affect legal rights relating to late delivery.

Some orders may arrive in separate parcels because items are produced or dispatched separately.

Please check your address carefully and contact us promptly if it needs correcting. We cannot guarantee an address change once fulfilment has begun.

We remain responsible for delivery until you, or a person you nominate, physically receives the goods. A different legal rule may apply where you independently commission a carrier that we did not offer.

If your parcel is lost, damaged or delayed, contact us. We will investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution. You do not need to resolve a claim directly with our printer or carrier before seeking help from us.

If circumstances outside our control cause a substantial delay, we will take reasonable steps to inform you and reduce its impact. Applicable cancellation and refund rights remain available.

See our Shipping Policy for further details.

6. Intellectual property

Rights in our branding, artwork, product designs, photographs, written content and website materials belong to BOULD CATS or their respective owners, where protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Purchasing a product does not transfer intellectual property rights in its design.

You may browse the website, share links and keep copies of information needed for your personal shopping records. Uses permitted by law remain allowed.

You must not reproduce our protected artwork for sale, manufacture unauthorised merchandise or use our branding in a way that misleadingly suggests our endorsement.

Third-party names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Customers retain ownership of content they submit, subject to section 11.

7. Optional tools

We may make optional third-party tools or services available through the website.

Where a tool is subject to separate provider terms, please review those terms before choosing to use it. We will identify relevant third-party arrangements where appropriate.

We cannot promise that independently operated tools will always be available. However, this does not exclude our responsibility for services we have agreed to provide or for our own actions.

New website features will be subject to these Terms and any additional conditions clearly explained when introduced.

8. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to independently operated websites. Their content, services and privacy practices are governed by their own terms.

A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse everything on the linked website.

If you make a separate purchase directly from another business, that transaction is generally between you and that business.

This section does not remove our responsibilities for BOULD CATS orders fulfilled through Printify or another service provider.

9. Relationship with Shopify

Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to operate this store.

Purchases from BOULD CATS are transactions between you and BOULD CATS. We are responsible for our products, order enquiries and obligations as the seller.

Shopify may separately provide services governed by its own terms and privacy notices.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any responsibility Shopify may independently have under applicable law or its own agreements with you.

10. Privacy policy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the rights available to you.

Information necessary to process and fulfil orders may be shared with Shopify, payment providers, Printify, print providers and delivery services, as explained in that policy.

Shopify also processes information under its applicable privacy notices, including its Consumer Privacy Policy.

Using the website or purchasing a product does not, by itself, constitute consent to optional marketing or non-essential tracking where separate consent is required.

11. Feedback

You may choose to submit reviews, suggestions or other feedback.

Please ensure that public submissions are truthful, lawful and do not infringe another person’s rights. Disclose any relevant incentive or commercial relationship when submitting a review.

You retain ownership of your content. By submitting a review for publication, you permit us to display it with the name or identifier you chose to make public, and to make reasonable formatting changes that do not alter its meaning.

We will seek any additional permission needed before using identifiable customer content in advertising.

Private support emails and photographs submitted to report a fault are not automatically licensed for promotional use.

We may remove unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, irrelevant or privacy-infringing content. We will not remove a genuine review simply because it is negative.

Unless separately agreed, submitting feedback does not create an entitlement to payment.

12. Errors, inaccuracies and omissions

We aim to keep information accurate, but occasional errors may occur.

We may correct website errors, including errors in descriptions, prices or availability.

If a material error affects an order before acceptance, we will contact you to explain it and offer the option of proceeding on corrected terms or cancelling for a refund.

For accepted orders, we will seek an agreed resolution and respect your contractual and statutory rights. We will not use this section to impose a higher price or materially different product without your agreement.

13. Prohibited uses

You must not use our website to:

  • Commit fraud or carry out unlawful activity.

  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.

  • Harass, threaten or abuse others.

  • Submit deliberately false or misleading information.

  • Impersonate another person or business.

  • Send unsolicited advertising or spam.

  • Introduce malicious software or interfere with website security.

  • Access another person’s account or information without permission.

  • Collect personal information or scrape website content without authorisation.

  • Bypass access restrictions or exploit the website in a way that disrupts its operation.

These restrictions do not prohibit normal browsing, accessibility tools, permitted automated assistance or activities protected by law.

We may take proportionate action to prevent misuse, as explained in section 15.

14. Agents

An “agent” means software that accesses or interacts with the website on someone’s behalf, including automated shopping assistants.

Agents must identify themselves accurately, comply with applicable access rules and stop accessing restricted areas when requested.

Where an agent makes HTTP requests, its user-agent identification should include Agent/[agent name] or another clearly recognisable agent identifier.

Agents must not conceal their automated nature, falsely claim to be human, evade CAPTCHA challenges or bypass security measures.

We may reasonably restrict automated access to protect security, customer information and website performance.

An agent must have appropriate authority before placing an order or submitting information on someone’s behalf. Nothing in this section removes a customer’s rights concerning unauthorised transactions.

15. Termination

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, fraud or a security risk.

Where reasonable, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be necessary where delay would create a security or legal risk.

Suspending an account does not automatically cancel accepted orders or remove rights to refunds, returns or other remedies.

Provisions that remain relevant after account closure, including payment obligations already incurred and applicable intellectual property protections, continue to apply.

16. Disclaimer of warranties

We take reasonable care in operating the website, but cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted or free from technical errors.

General website content is provided for information and does not replace product-specific descriptions or commitments we make when you order.

Our products are not sold without legal protections. Applicable rights concerning satisfactory quality, accurate descriptions, fitness for purpose and other mandatory consumer guarantees remain fully effective.

Nothing in this section excludes responsibility for failing to meet those requirements.

17. Limitation of liability

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.

We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Your statutory rights concerning products, delivery, cancellations and refunds are unaffected.

Products are offered for personal use. Where permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for business losses arising from commercial use that we did not agree to supply for.

Using a printer, fulfilment provider or carrier does not remove our responsibilities as your seller.

18. Indemnification

You do not agree to an unrestricted obligation to reimburse us, Shopify or our service providers for claims simply by using this website or purchasing a product.

If deliberate unlawful conduct, fraud or infringement by you causes loss, we may seek remedies available under applicable law. Any claim must reflect a legally recoverable loss and cannot include amounts caused by our own fault.

We do not have the right to determine disputed liability or impose legal expenses on you unilaterally.

19. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will not apply to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions continue to apply where they can operate fairly and lawfully without it.

Mandatory consumer protections take priority over conflicting wording.

20. Waiver and entire agreement

A delay in exercising a right does not automatically mean that either party has given up that right.

These Terms, the relevant product information and policies provided before purchase form the agreement governing your order.

This does not exclude statements or promises that are legally binding, information you were entitled to rely on, or liability for misleading representations.

Where consumer law requires an unclear term to be interpreted in your favour, that rule applies.

21. Assignment

We may transfer our rights and obligations to another business only where doing so does not reduce your contractual protections. We will notify you where the transfer materially affects your order or relationship with us.

You may transfer contractual rights where permitted by law or with our agreement. We will not unreasonably withhold agreement.

This section does not prevent you from giving a purchased product to another person.

22. Governing law

The law applicable to these Terms and any dispute will be determined under the relevant legal rules.

Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence or restricts access to courts or dispute-resolution procedures available under applicable law.

Please contact us first if a problem arises so that we can try to resolve it. Doing so is not a condition of exercising your legal rights.

23. Translations

We may provide translations to make our website and policies easier to understand.

We aim for translated versions to reflect the English version accurately. If there is a discrepancy, we will explain it and seek a fair resolution.

Nothing in this section overrides mandatory language requirements, protections against misleading information or legally binding information supplied in another language.

24. Headings

Headings are included for convenience and do not change the meaning of these Terms.

25. Electronic communications

We normally communicate about orders by email, using the contact details you provide.

Please provide a working email address and retain your order confirmation and relevant policies for your records.

Where information must legally be supplied in a form you can retain, we will provide it in an appropriate format, such as email.

Order and service communications are separate from optional marketing. Agreeing to receive order emails does not automatically mean agreeing to promotional messages.

26. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, operations or legal requirements. The current version and its update date will be available on this page.

Changes generally apply to future orders. An accepted order remains governed by the terms applicable when it was accepted, unless a change is required by law or expressly agreed with you.

Where a material change affects an ongoing service, we will provide appropriate notice.
